Dr Jessica Matcham
Clinical Psychologist & EMDR Therapist
Bournemouth, Dorset & Online
I’m a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with experience working across NHS and private settings. Alongside general therapeutic work, I have a particular interest in supporting late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults, especially around identity, self-understanding, and self-acceptance, and I am able to offer diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD in adults.

Psychological therapy provides an opportunity to reflect on yourself and life's challenges, to help make sense of them and figure out ways of making lasting positive change. As a clinical psychologist, I take an integrative approach to therapy and draw on a range of models to tailor our work to suit your needs. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I am also interested in exploring deeper psychological patterns using parts work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). I find individualising the approach and techniques offered to clients can be beneficial in supporting their therapeutic journey.
